We are a lovely, little shop located in the heart of Liberty Station, specializing in natural fiber yarn sourced locally and from around the world. We want to always provide San Diego locals and visitors a thoughtful selection of excellent choices (and a few fun surprises).

Our well-curated knitting and crochet supplies are selected to offer our customers amazingly well-designed choices that are also practical.

We offer project-based classes, individual or small group lessons for the new knitter/crocheter or for polishing your skills, as well as patterns and shop samples to get inspiration.

Apricot Yarn & Supply is very much a social place that you can come for inspiration. Look for our weekly and monthly social stitching dates, and other special events where you can meet new crafters, share, and get inspired. Or just come in any time to hang out with us!

Apricot Yarn & Supply was created by Sara Heckman in early 2017. Sara is a second generation local to Point Loma, a fine artist whose original paintings you may also notice in the shop, and an avid knitter and lover of every bit of the creative process, including the community that fiber arts cultivates.
